A fee is charged for consulting the articles, either via subscription, or via purchase of reading rights per individual article.
The first quarter of 2010 will bring two major changes to Napoleonica La Revue. First, the site will from now on be hosted by CAIRN, a French humanities e-journal aggregator database, and second, access to the journal will now be free.
After reading the summary, in French or in English, readers can choose one or more articles from the list of references located in the rubric: Services > My basket. Payment is made after validating the choice of articles.
NB: only the summaries are available in French and English. The articles themselves are available either in French or in English.

Subscription to one or more issues can be made using this form.
Annual subscription runs for the calendar year, from 1st January to 31st December. It enables subscribers to read and download for private and personal use articles corresponding to the year of the subscription. Napoleonica. La Revue appears in 3 issues per year.
Annual subscription costs EUR 60 (sixty euros).
By subscribing to one issue, readers are automatically registered to receive an electronic message or notification informing them that the next issue has been published.
From the second year of publication it will be possible to subscribe for the current year but also for previous years.
Payment can be made online using a credit or debit card, via the Sogenactif secure system, by Société Générale. As soon as payment is validated, subscribers will receive confirmation by email.
It is also possible to pay by cheque. The cheque must be made payable to the Fondation Napoléon and sent to Fondation Napoléon, Napoleonica La Revue, 148 boulevard Haussmann, 75008 Paris, France. Readers must also indicate exactly which article(s) is(are) being paid for (author, title, month and year of publication).
Processing can take up to five weeks. As soon as the cheque is cashed, readers will receive identification enabling them to connect to the napoleonicalarevue.org website and consult the article(s) paid for by the cheque. This identification will be sent electronically or by mail, as specified by the reader. The Fondation Napoléon cannot be held responsible in the event of this identification going astray.
Readers can choose to buy reading rights for one or more articles, from different issues of Napoleonica. La Revue.
This costs EUR 7 (seven euros) per article.
Methods of paying for and accessing articles are the same as for an annual subscription.
Readers can view and modify their order via Services > My basket.

LReaders can consult articles linked with their subscription(s), or with an individual purchase, for an unlimited period of time. In order to do this they must register their email address and a password, from the home page, so as to be recognised as a subscriber on the website.
The Fondation Napoléon cannot accept responsibility in the event of any technical breakdown resulting in readers being unable to access the site or download the article(s) for which they have acquired reading and downloading rights (by subscription or individual purchase). Personal data collected for a subscription to the review, for a purchase of one or more article(s) or for sending the notification of publication are not communicated to any third party, and are used by the Fondation Napoléon, publisher of the napoleonicalarevue.org site only within the framework of the transactions and communication connected with Napoleonica La Revue.
This nominative information can be subject to access and correction rights within the Fondation Napoléon, which takes place in accordance with the French information technology and liberty law _ loi Informatique et Libertés n° 78-17_ of 6 January 1978.
